Version One And Accurate Solutions Seal Document Management Partnership

United Kingdom - September 4, 2008 - Document management and imaging software author, Version One, has today announced a partnership with Accurate Solutions Limited, a provider of financial management systems to Oxbridge Colleges.

This partnership sees the integration of Version One’s suite of document management and imaging products into Accurate’s Mercury finance system, enabling users to electronically create, store, retrieve, deliver and authorise documents directly from their Mercury system. Colleges will also be able to automatically capture data from incoming documents, reducing manual data entry by up to 80%.

Phil Akers, Director of Accurate Solutions, says, "With integrated document management, Mercury users are provided with advanced functionality for the paperless management and processing of a range of documents including invoices, statements, remittances and student records. As well as cutting paper consumption and carbon emissions, thereby supporting colleges’ environmental policies, this technology also cuts costs, improves efficiency and frees-up document storage space."

Lynne Munns, General Manager of Version One comments, "This partnership is great news for Mercury users who now have financial management and document management technology rolled into one, fully-integrated system. For the first time, users can view imaged documents directly from their finance system and can automatically deliver and authorise them without moving from their PCs."

Munns adds, "Both the business and environmental benefits of using document management cannot be underestimated. Version One customers are experiencing a return on investment within just six months, cost savings of many thousands of pounds and swifter processing of documents. By eliminating the manual processing and handling of documents, the risk of human error, such as data entry mistakes and lost and damaged documents, is also removed. This is in addition to reduced paper waste, which is fundamental to any organisation’s green agenda."
